Chelsea Chiefs Reveal Three Names For Summer Transfer Shortlist

Chelsea have reportedly identified three defensive targets for the summer transfer window, according to reports in Germany.

New boss Thomas Tuchel was not afforded any recruits of his own in the January window, which closed on Monday night.

After forking out over £200million on transfers last year, the Blues decided against splashing any more cash in the winter market and have instead began drawing up plans for the summer.

SportBild claim Blues chiefs have already added three defensive targets to their “shopping list” for the next window.

All three defenders currently reside in Germany’s top flight, which is hardly a coincidence following the appointment of Tuchel.

The three on their radar include Bayern Munich duo Niklas Sule and David Alaba, while RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano is also a target.

Roman Abramovich is reported will set his sights on bringing one of these players to Stamford Bridge in the summer, although they are likely to face competition from Bayern for Upamecano.
