Barcelona was extremely unhappy with the referee's decisions in El Clasico and Luka is totally unfussed about their claims.

"Nothing from outside the club can tarnish our history and what we're doing," Luka Modric told the press when asked whether the media fuss around controversial referee decisions in El Clasico affects Real Madrid, as quoted by the club's official website.

"There are always lots of complaints about us, but that's what happens when you're the best team in the world.

"The things that are said on the outside can't harm the club's image."

Modric continues to deliver—not only in terms of assists and goals, but also in terms of putting Barcelona in their place.

The infuriated Pique and Koeman approached the referee Gil Manzano after El Clasico, claiming he should have added more minutes and awarded a penalty for Mendy's challenge on Braithwaite.

On-pitch microphones picked a brief exchange between Modric and Pique after the game, as the Croatian mocked the Barca defender and his whining nature.
