Ahead of Ajax's latest home game, Erik ten Haag addressed the rumours circulating in the Catalan press that he could become the successor to Ronald Koeman at Barcelona.
"What do I have to do with all that? I'm focused on Ajax. These are rumours. Perhaps this is fun for you, but not for me," the Dutchman told ESPN.
It's been reported earlier that Ten Haag was among the candidates Barca considered to replace Koeman, whose days at Camp Nou seem to be numbered.
Although the decision to sack the current coach has been made, as per reports, the club is yet to agree on who to bring in as the replacement. It's said that Joan Laporta wants someone to build a long-term project, not a temporary option.
