Ancelotti reveals he is disappointed that Real Madrid didn't sign Mbappe this summer,

In the presser ahead of the home clash against Celta Vigo, Carlo Ancelotti was asked whether he was disappointed that Real Madrid didn't sign Kylian Mbappe this summer.

"No, no disappointment at all. It's obvious that he is a great player, he has stayed at Paris Saint-Germain. We wish him a lot of luck but we are thinking about our squad and our players. We have a very strong squad and a lot can be done this year," the coach said.

As per previous reports, Real Madrid were ready to offer up to €200m for Mbappe this August but PSG refused to sell anyway.

The 22-year-old's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning that he could join the Whites for free.
