Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, former Ballon d’Or winner Ricardo Kaka spoke about Romelu Lukaku and said: “Romelu is number one, he reminds me of Adriano at his best -- physical strength, intelligence, speed.
“A year ago, AC Milan took the lead [in the Serie A title race] after the first derby, then Inter took it back and won deservedly.”
Adriano enjoyed a lot of success at Inter Milan, scoring 74 goals in 177 appearances for them in all competitions. Lukaku also had a memorable stint in the Serie A, scoring 24 goals last season and helping Inter win the title last season.
The Belgian striker moved back to Chelsea for a club-record £97.5m fee and has scored 4 goals in 4 appearances so far this season.
