This means that there is already pressure on manager Ronald Koeman, who is under threat of being replaced.
According to reliable journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona President Joan Laporta wants to appoint Andrea Pirlo as the club's new head coach.
However, the Italian isn't the only candidate for the job, with names like Xavi, Phillip Cocu and Antonio Conte also in the running.
It remains to be seen when and if Koeman will get the sack but Barcelona need to ensure that they don't fall too far behind.
