Antoine Griezmann was booed loudly by many sections of the 40,000 Atletico Madrid fans at the Wanda Metropolitano during their Champions League game with Porto on Wednesday.
Griezmann was jeered as he came off the bench to replace Joao Felix in the 59th minute of the match.
The 30-year-old returned to Atletico (on loan) after 2 years with Barcelona. However, many Rojiblancos faithful are unhappy with the Frenchman given the manner he left the Madrid-based outfit in 2019.
Neither Griezmann nor Atletico managed to score a goal as the game ended in a barren draw.
On Tuesday, Barcelona fans booed Sergi Roberto into tears at Camp Nou. For Roberto though, Cules whistled him because they felt he wasn't playing well.
