Barcelona's game against Bayern proved to be too much for the Catalan side, who lost the game 3-0 at home.
Fans spotted that left-back Jordi Alba was looking particularly tired and zoned out after he was subbed off, with fans joking he seemed 'dead':
The reliable Helena Condis reports that Alba suffered 38.5-Celsius fever and was vomiting on Monday, the night before the Bayern Munich match.
That's why the left-back missed the training session on Tuesday morning and clearly did not look his best against the German giants.
Catalunya Radio support the report, adding that Alba also suffered from diarrhoea on the same day.
However, the 31-year-old, together with Ronald Koeman, decided to take the risk and play against Bayern.
Jordi was subbed off in the 74th minute due to injury, which Barcelona later confirmed to be discomfort in the hamstrings of his right leg.
