Jesse Lingard has rejected Man United’s new contract offer, claim ESPN.
The Englishman is seeking reassurances over his first-team future at the club after opting against moving out on loan this summer.
Lingard wants to ensure that he’ll get the opportunity to play regularly for the Red Devils before penning a new deal.
Jesse is determined to find regular football so that he can be a mainstay in the England national team as well.
Lingard’s contract expires next summer and can start negotiating with clubs on a pre-contract from January onwards if unable to agree on a new deal by then.
