Messi likely to miss PSG's next game due to special Argentina clause in his contract

Lionel Messi could be forced to further delay his chances of making a full debut for PSG as he’ll likely miss their next game.

According to TYC Sports, there is a special clause in his contract that allows him to prioritize playing friendly or official games for the Argentina national team.

The clause also permits the Argentine team to have full access to PSG’s training facilities if they wish to use them.

Argentina’s next FIFA World Cup qualifier is against Bolivia on Thursday, just a few days before the Parisian’s team’s next Ligue 1 match vs Clermont Foot.

Unless something drastic happens, Messi won’t be able to play in PSG’s next game if he features in his national team’s next game.
