Van Gaal slams reporter who questioned his tactics
During a press conference last week, newly-appointed Netherlands head coach Louis van Gaal was questioned about his preferred tactics.
One of the journalists in the room asked the Dutchman about his 'defensive' 5-3-2 formation, wondering about why he's trying to recreate Chelsea's style of play.
Angry Van Gaal replied: "Is that defensive football, in your eyes? You have zero knowledge about football. I'm sorry to say it, but you're just a journalist. You want to implement your vision, but you have no vision in football.
"You have a vision for the newspaper, fantastic. You attract attention, and so on. But with 5-3-2 or 5-2-3 you can attack incredibly well. Chelsea shows it every time, with different formations. And I take my hat off to Thomas Tuchel."
