Asisat Oshoala Scores Again, Moves Up To 11 Goals In Nine Games

Barcelona Femini of Spain attacker, Asisat Oshoala took her haul of goals to 11 in nine appearances on Saturday, as she helped Las Blaugranes to yet another victory in the Spanish Women’s League. reports that ‘Super Zee’ was at her brilliant best against Ana Junyent’s women and was rewarded with one of the goals in her side’s 3-0 away victory over Eibar.

“In the goal-laden first half, Jonatan Giraldez’s side went three goals up six minutes before the half-time break courtesy of Jenni Hermoso who was teed up by Dutch star Maertens.

“Barca came close to scoring more goals before the break but they wasted those opportunities (and) while Maria Leon sent one over the crossbar, Claudia Pina’s powerful effort was saved by goalkeeper Noelia Garcia.

“Many would have predicted a harvest of goals in the second half but Eibar put up a solid defensive display to keep the scoreline decent.” Bimbo Adeola
