Dominic Solanke Keeps On Raining Goals In English Championship

Bournemouth of England striker, Dominic Solanke kept up his amazing burst of goals in the English Championship, as he netted again for The Cherries, on a day Festy Ebosele, Kion Etete and Freddie Ladapo all also scored for clubs in the lower leagues.

Megaspoertsarena.com gathered that Solanke continued his fine form by bagging a brace to help Bournemouth seal a 4-0 win over Swansea City at Vitality Stadium, where the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup winner and most valuable player open the scoring.

A report by allnigeriasoccer.com revealed that Solanke netted after he was fed a point-blank pass by fellow-Nigerian-born attacker, Philip Anyanwu Billing in the 26th minute.

The report adds: “Things got worse for The Swans when the former Chelsea and Liverpool starlet volleyed the ball past the keeper three minutes into the second half.

“Solanke has now scored fourteen goals in all competitions for the Cherries this term – thirteen of them coming in the Championship.

“Derby County are without a win in seven games after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheyi Ojo’s Millwall at the Den in London.

“Republic of Ireland youth teamer Festy Ebosele scored his first professional goal when he guided the ball past the goalkeeper in the 44th minute.

“In the first round of the FA Cup, Northampton Town were held to a 2-2 draw by Cambridge United despite taking the lead on two occasions.

“Tottenham Hotspur loanee Kion Etete broke the deadlock as early as the sixth minute when he beat the offside trap and slotted past the goalkeeper.

“Former Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo and Rotherham United are through to the second round of the FA Cup after a routine 3-0 win versus Bromley at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

“Just before halftime, Ladapo increased the Millers lead to 2-0 when he turned the ball home from close range, taking his tally for the season to seven goals from eighteen appearances in all competitions.” Bimbo Adeola
