Pedri has not played for Barcelona since picking up a muscle injury in the game against Benfica in Portugal.
The midfielder has made only 2 appearances in the league due to the injury.
In his absence, 17-year-old Gavi has risen to the occasion, gaining rave reviews for club and country.
The 19-year-old midfielder played 52 games for Barcelona. He can't play that many games this season, even if he appears in every Barca fixture from this point on.
