Ian Wright gave a priceless reaction after Harry Kane matched his England record with four goals against San Marino.

The Tottenham captain became the first player to score four goals in the one game for the Three Lions since the former Arsenal achieved the same feat in 1993, also against the Sammarinese.

Kane scored his first from the penalty spot to make it 3-0 followng Harry Maguire's opener and a Filippo Fabbri own goal.

Emile Smith Rowe then set up Kane for his second of the game, before the Spurs talisman bagged a hat-trick - his fifth for England so far during his career - with another spot-kick to make it 5-0.

Kane then grabbed his fourth of the game with a brilliant solo effort to make it six, matching Wright's record that has been standing since 1993, in the process.

And the former Arsenal man was in the ITV studios on punditry to duty with a front-row seat of Kane's milestone.

Wright light-heartedly shook his head as Kane netted his fourth strike but praised the striker for his achievement.

He said: "That's what he does, he scores goals. Congrats to him."

Analysing Kane's goals, Wright added: "The first penalty was very harsh.

"He miskicked the second one, but that's what happens when you're in the box.
