Manchester City set to offer Sergio Aguero 'ambassador role' at the club

Manchester City want to look after Sergio Aguero after the striker's heartbreaking heart diagnosis and retirement from football.

According to a respected Argentinian outlet Ole, the 2020/21 Premier League champions have offered the 34-year-old an 'ambassador role' at the club.

Aguero's financial situation is believed to be stable with the forward actually agreeing to forego the final year of his £100,000-per-week contract at Barcelona.

However, because such sudden transition from football to retirement could be quite traumatic, Man City seemingly believe that their all-time record scorer could return to the Etihad.
