Man United will begin the process of appointing their next manager over the next few weeks, claims The Athletic’s reliable David Ornstein.
The Red Devils have identified the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag, Luis Enrique, and Julen Lopetegui as potential options.
These 4 managers have all impressed United’s hierarchy and the club are interested to select one out of this core.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Ten Hag had reportedly overtaken Pochettino as the leading candidate for the United job.
That being said, it remains to be seen whom United finalizes on succeeding Ralf Rangnick after their search is completed.
Rangnick is currently set to be United’s interim boss until the end of the season, after which he’ll become a consultant and also have a say on who replaces him.
