Pep Guardiola will be offered the chance to become the manager of the Netherlands national team once he leaves Man City, claims the Mirror.
The Dutch FA has already drawn up plans to convince the Spaniard to take up his first international job with them once he decides to move on from City.
They already spoke to Pep about the opportunity before he signed a two-year contract with City last summer.
Now the Dutch FA hope that Guardiola will be convinced to take up the offer and help implement his ‘total football’ tactics with their national side soon.
Louis van Gaal is obviously the current Netherlands team manager, but is expected to move on after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Pep is currently contracted to stay on as City manager until 2023 – but the Citizens hope he’ll be persuaded to stay for a longer period.
