Eguavoen  worrried as Important Super Eagles Star Set to Miss The AFCON Clash Against Sudan Read

Super Eagles of Nigeria are currently preparing for their next game at African Cup of Nations against Sudan and Agile defender Chidozie Awaziem who missed the first game against Egypt is expected to be out again on match-day two.

Austin Eguavoen and his wards recorded a 1-0 win over Egypt and another victory against Sudan will give them ticket to knockout Chidozie Awaziem who is a Nigerian defender is now expected to miss the Super Eagles African Cup of Nations clash against Sudan this coming Saturday due to slight knock he picked.

The knock also ruled him out of the Super Eagles' first game against Egypt at the ongoing tournament in which Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the winner for Nigeria. 

And in his absence in Nigeria's starting XI, Zaidu was given the chance by Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen and he did not disappoint as he kept Mohamed Salah out of the tie. 

According to the latest report on Soccernet and Guardian, the 25-year-old defender won't be facing Sudan in Super Eagles next game as Nigeria will aim to qualify for the knockout.
