N'Golo Kante is arguably the best defensive midfielder of his generation and the Frenchman has earned plaudits for his performances time and again.
The latest to pay homage is Man City's Ilkay Gundogan, who answered a question during a Q&A on Twitter.
A fan asked Gundogan who the hardest midfield opponent he ever had was, and the German responded by naming Kante.
"I would say N'Golo Kante. He’s really strong, the amount of work that he puts into the game, it’s just unbelievable..."
Having the Frenchman fully healthy is pivotal to Chelsea's season and the Blues will need a massive performance from him if they are to beat Man City.
