On Tuesday, Liverpool requested that the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg against Arsenal scheduled for January 6th be postponed.
Now, the EFL have approved this request due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases among players and staff at the club.
As a result, the first leg will now be played on January 13th at Anfield, while the return leg at Emirates will take place on January 20th.
