Liverpool's pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal clash cancelled due to Covid-19

Liverpool have been rocked by a wave of Covid-19 cases in the past few days, having to cancel training on Tuesday.

Now, Paul Joyce has confirmed that Pep Lijnders, LFC's assistant coach has also tested positive for Covid-19.

Lijnders was in charge in Klopp's absence due to the same reason and him having to isolate has led to Liverpool cancelling their pre-match press conference scheduled on Wednesday.

The club have already applied to have the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal against Arsenal postponed but the EFL are still deliberating on it.
