When asked about whether Man United will see any transfer activity before the end of the January transfer window, Ralf Rangnick said: “I don't know.
“I know which players would want to leave. I know that there are some negotiations with clubs but I am not involved in that.
“I will probably be posted and made aware if something is happening. We will all have to wait and see what happens.”
At this moment, it looks unlikely that United buy anyone in the winter transfer window. However, there’s a strong chance that the likes of Amad Diallo, Anthony Martial, and Jesse Lingard are loaned out before the transfer deadline.
Lingard could even be sold to Newcastle United if they’re able to fulfill the Red Devils’ demands.
Rangnick has admitted recently that Man United have ‘too big a squad’, so he’ll probably want them to trim it a little bit before the transfer window ends.
