According to Marca and top-tier journalist Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid have dropped their interest in Antonio Rudiger.
The main reason is financial. The Chelsea centre-back has requested a salary of around €240,000 per week (€12.4m per season). The Whites are not willing to give him that.
The Germany international was really keen on moving to the Bernabeu. He discussed a transfer with Ancelotti and several first-team players at Madrid.
