Xavi discuss Ferran Torres quality, names his 'best virtue'

"Ferran Torres is a spectacular signing, as a player and a person. He’s going to give us a lot. He’s had great coaches like Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique," Xavi said during the pre-Mallorca presser.

"He can play in different positions. I’m very happy with the effort made by the club to get him. We have to see the salary cap position, there will have to be exits. If we can get Ousmane Dembele to renew, we can register Ferran and another signing.

"I think his best virtue is his personality. He's very ambitious, excited, dedicated, you can see it in his eyes. He can play in attack, he has great one against one, can score goals. We are talking about a very complete player who will help us without a shadow of a doubt."

Ferran has joined Barcelona from Manchester City in a move worth €55m plus €10m in add-ons. However, the Catalans are currently unable to register him due to FFP rules. Besides, Torres is still recovering from his injury.
