Real Madrid board are said to be angry with the Italian following the Paris Saint-Germain result. They believe Ancelotti's methods are no longer working.
Earlier, it was reported that the club would sack Ancelotti if the team were knocked out of the Champions League or dropped their lead in La Liga.
The Whites currently top the league table with a 4-point advantage over Sevilla. Carlo Ancelotti's side have just lost to PSG 1-0 in the Champions League.
