Erik ten Hag is close to becoming Manchester United's next permanent manager, according multiple top sources.

The Red Devils are expected to back the Dutchman in the transfer market and here's how the 50-year-old's Old Trafford squad could look like.

Goalkeepers

David De Gea, Sam Johnstone, Matej Kovar

David De Gea is not going anywhere but Dean Henderson is likely to leave the club to play first-team football. Man United are said to be looking at bringing back Sam Johnstone from West Brom while Matej Kovar could be in for a promotion.

Defenders

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Jurrien Timber, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles.

No massive changes at the back are expected next season but Eric Bailly has been linked with an exit from the club. Ten Hag could bring in Jurrien Timber as a replacement with the 20-year-old centre-back impressing at Ajax this season.
