The officials have been named for the FA Cup final, with Craig Pawson has been named as the referee for Liverpool’s match against Chelsea.
Paul Tierney is on VAR duty, however. In case you forgot, he is the same referee Jurgen Klopp confronted this season after our draw against Spurs.
“Honestly, I have no problem with any referees, only you. You don't give us this penalty - you have never played football,” Klopp was spotted telling Tierney after the draw.
Since he is not the main official, we should not be concerned too much about this appointment. Tierney is a referee from Manchester and he was also in charge of our Premier League clash against Man City a few days ago.
