Pulisic reveals Tuchel's message before game-winning sub against West Ham

Christian Pulisic was Chelsea's impact sub in a narrow win against West Ham on Sunday.

The forward was brought on at 0-0 with 14 minutes to go and broke the deadlock in the 90th minute.

"He just said to make the difference," the American said when asked what Tuchel told him, as quoted by the Mirror. "To combine and make opportunities."

Well, Pulisic carried out Tuchel's instruction to the word.

"It feels good to be more secure in the top four," Christian added. "We need a win at home and it feels great in front of our fans.

"We need to finish the season strong. Some good league games and then a final. I needed to come in and make a difference and show I want to be playing."
