Taking to Instagram to react to Barcelona’s 2021/22 season, Marc-Andre ter Stegen wrote: “Our season comes to an end, one with many challenges and changes.
“After a difficult, not satisfying first half year, we put a lot of effort and turned our situation around. In the second half, we found good form and secured UCL which is very important.
“We need to be competitive in all competitions and as players we can all improve. I’m positive for next season to continue our path, we want to play better and win!
“Now my objective is disconnecting and resting, something I’ve not been able to do these last summers. Next season is important for both Barça and Germany, I’m looking forward to it. See you soon!”
Ter Stegen made 48 appearances for Barca in the 2021/22 season, keeping 15 clean sheets and conceding 57 goals.
