Crawley Town sack manager John Yems for racism towards his own players

As many as seven Crawley Town players have complained about racism from their manager John Yems, leading to the latter's sacking this Friday, reports Sky Sports.

The players claim Yems, 62, used 'discriminatory language and behaviour' towards his own squad.

After being suspended last month, the club have officially parted ways with the English manager.

Shocking claims from the players reveal Yems had the dressing room 'segregated on racial grounds', with players from other backgrounds made to change away from their white teammates.

Sky Sports adds that investigations are still ongoing but the League Two clubs have decided to part ways.

Racism in football is a growing concern across Europe and we need stricter rules in place to prevent this from happening again.
