Crystal Palace And Everton Eye Chelsea Defender Levi Colwill

Everton coach Frank Lampard hopes Chelsea will help him out with a loan deal for Colwill defender, 19, who has been a key part of Huddersfield's push to the play-off final.

But Everton wants to offer him Prem football after staying up, which gives them a chance of success.

Lampard was given Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori when he was boss at Derby and his relationships are still strong after his time in charge of Chelsea.

Crystal Palace like Colwill but may not be able to offer him first-team football next season as he is more of a long-term project, says The Sun.

Colwill has enjoyed an excellent season at the John Smith's Stadium - even being dubbed the 'new John Terry' - especially after choosing to wear the same No 26 shirt.
