Frenkie de Jong is willing to make a move to Man City in the summer, claims the Sun.

The Dutchman is ready to surrender £6m in unpaid wages from Barcelona if the move is possible.

De Jong would reportedly be more eager to join City than secure a move to Man United in the summer.

Frenkie wants to play in the Champions League, something which the Red Devils can’t guarantee next season.

The city is going to seek a replacement for Fernandinho in the summer and could make a move for De Jong after realizing he’s up for grabs.

Erik ten Hag is eager to make De Jong his first big signing at United and would need to play a big part in convincing him to join him at Old Trafford.
