Liverpool Considered Making Move For Son

Liverpool were interested in a big move for Heung-min Son this summer if Tottenham Hotspur failed to finish inside the top four, Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold reports.

Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the player and has been following him for a while. Liverpool believed that Son would have been a good addition in case of a possible departure of either Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah.

Now that Spurs managed to qualify for Champions League, the Reds are not expected to take their interest in Son further.

In the 2021/22 season, the 29-year-old recorded 24 goals and 10 assists in 45 matches for Spurs.
