Edinson Cavani will be leaving Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Ahead of the Crystal Palace game on Sunday, Ralf Rangnick announced that it would be Cavani's last match for the Red Devils.
And the 35-year-old's departure ahead of the 2022/23 season has now been confirmed on social media via Man United's official Twitter account.
A video of the veteran striker alongside Hannibal Mejbri from the game at Selhurst Park was captioned 'Passing on words of wisdom. We'll miss your guidance and experience'.
