Barca may be left in limbo as Frenkie de Jong 'refuses to leave'

Frenkie de Jong refuses to leave Barcelona, according to the reliable Cadena SER.

The Dutchman has previously stated that he's at the biggest club in the world and has no reason to leave.

If Frenkie refuses to leave the club, Barcelona may be left stranded as regards their plan to boost their finances using his sale.

That would also mean that the club will not go for Bernado Silva.

Next season, De Jong will be Barca's highest earner, unless the club can negotiate a pay cut. Barca can't force him to lower his wages as his contract runs until 2026.
