Barcelona Implores Dembele To Postpone Decision On Future

Barcelona has begged Ousmane Dembele furthermore to delay the conclusion over his future while they raise the funds to keep him.

  Dembele who is out of contract at the Nou Camp on June 30 and is of interest to the likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, intends to decide on his next club when he returns from holiday.

That could be as early as next week – so Barca has reiterated their desire to agree on a new contract but that they need more time to solve their financial problems.

Barca boss Xavi again insisted to the club last weekend that Dembele’s extension is a priority over the signing of other players, including target Raphinha, who wants to sign for the club from Leeds.

The Catalans remain hamstrung in the transfer market by the Financial Fair Play ratio imposed by La Liga, which has so far stopped them from being able to register new signings Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen.
