Chelsea And Inter Set To Start 'direct Talks' Over Lukaku Loan Deal

"Inter and Chelsea will be in direct talks for Romelu Lukaku in the coming days", according to Fabrizio Romano.

Inter Milan have already reached out to Lukaku over a possible return to the San Siro - it's said that the player 'strongly wants to return to Inter.'

The deal is still complicated though, as Chelsea spent €115m for Lukaku less than 12 months ago. Thus, Inter may only be able to sign Lukaku on loan, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, another 5-star source.

The Belgian striker feels uncomfortable at Stamford Bridge after failing to fit into Thomas Tuchels system.
