Chelsea and Inter Milan are now both motivated to push through Romelu Lukaku’s return to San Siro in the summer, claims Gazzetta dello Sport.
The likeliest possibility will probably see Lukaku re-join Inter Milan on loan next season as the Italian club lacks the funds to sign him on a permanent basis.
Inter want the move done before the end of June, while Chelsea hope it’ll be done soon too so that they can line up a replacement.
Lukaku is personally very eager to rejoin Inter after enduring a poor debut season back at Stamford Bridge last season.
He isn’t held in high regard by Thomas Tuchel anymore and is likely to be offloaded before the start of next season.
