'I don't want players who don't want to be here': Guardiola opens up on Bernardo Silva future

"I always say that I don't want players who don't want to stay," Pep Guardiola has told the media, as per the Mirror.

"I think Bernardo [Silva] will stay with us but I can't be too sure," he added.

When asked whether Pep would bring Bernardo to the charity game against Barcelona in August, he replied: "Yes, I'll take Bernardo Silva... and ten more players!"

Manchester City reportedly ask for around €100m to sell the Portuguese. Xavi is said to be willing to replace Frenkie de Jong with the 27-year-old.

Bernardo Silva, in turn, would love to come to Barca, as per multiple reports. He is eager to leave England for personal reasons.

The attacking midfielder registered 20 goal contributions in 50 appearances for the Citizens this season.
