Liverpool have reached an agreement on personal terms with Darwin Nunez over his move to Anfield, according to respected transfer reporter Gianluigi Longari.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday that Nunez only wants to sign for Liverpool.
There are reports in Portugal claiming Benfica have accepted Liverpool's bid for the player, but this cannot be confirmed by any credible source at this point.
Regardless, the 22-year-old seems headed straight to Anfield after 'speaking with Jurgen Klopp'.
His arrival will signal the departure of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich.
