The wait is over, Luka Modric has extended his contract with Real Madrid by one more year, the club has confirmed.
Modric penned a deal that keeps him at the club until the summer of 2023.
The Croatian icon was instrumental in helping Real Madrid win La Liga this season and their 14th Champions League crown.
The Croatian genius contributed three goals, claimed 12 assists and played 45 games in all competitions despite being 36.
