REVEALED: Mane Asked For £83m Over Four Years To Stay At Liverpool

The Mirror, not always a reliable source, claims that Sadio Mane asked for a £400,000-per-week wage to stay at Liverpool.

The deal would have reached £83m, including bonuses, over four years, if Liverpool accepted the forward's demands.

The Reds decided they are not prepared to pay this much to the Senegalese and chose to replace him with Darwin Nunez. The 22-year-old will earn significantly less at Liverpool.

Mane is on the cusp of moving to Bayern Munich. He will take home £360,000 per week in Germany. Liverpool would get £40m for the 30-year-old.
