Surveillance footage from Champions League final deleted

"The images are available for seven days. They are then automatically destroyed. We should have had a requisition to provide them to the different populations," said Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional and international relations of the federation.

"For having been at the security PC all day with Didier [Pintaux, FFF security manager], the images are extremely violent."

Le Prévost made these comments during a hearing at the French senate to get a full understanding of the events that occurred in Paris at the Stade Denis around the Champions League final on May 28.

Before the game, Liverpool fans were harassed by local officials and even attacked with tear gas while queuing up for the final. Even family members of the Liverpool players and those close to the club were attacked by people around the stadium.

In the aftermath, the French officials have been busy blaming Liverpool fans for the mess that was caused, and are now claiming the official footage has been deleted.
