Frenkie de Jong will leave Barcelona this summer, according to Cadena COPE and Gerard Romero.
According to the reports, sources within the club admit that De Jong's sale is unavoidable as Barcelona aim to raise money for a transfer campaign.
Man United are seriously interested in the Dutchman but are yet to make an offer that would satisfy the Catalans.
It has been reported that Barca want 'around €85 million' for De Jong but Man United believe they can drive the price down.
The danger is that other clubs might enter the race for De Jong now that he's made available.
