He scored 35 league goals last season': Tuchel's ideal replacement for Lukaku revealed

Thomas Tuchel's ideal replacement for Romelu Lukaku is none other than Robert Lewandowski, according to ESPN sources.

However, getting Lewandowski is somewhat complicated for Chelsea for two reasons:

1. The Polish striker has admitted he only wants to sign for Barcelona this summer.

2. Bayern Munich are reluctant to sell their goal machine this summer - even if it means losing him for free next summer.

Lewandowski is arguably the best striker in the world, bar Benzema. He scored 35 league goals for Bayern last season.

In all competitions, Lewandowski scored an outrageous 50 goals in 46 games in the 2021/22 campaign.

Meanwhile, Lukaku flopped for Chelsea after his big-money move from Inter last summer. The Belgian heavyweight only managed 15 goals in 44 games.
