Carlo Ancelotti was surprised by Antonio Rudiger's physicality and all-around quality during his first Real Madrid training, according to Diario AS.
The German defender was signed on a free transfer after his contract with Chelsea expired in June.

Ancelotti later spoke highly of Rudiger during his press conference saying: "Rudiger is a great CB who can play in different positions."
