As per Fabrizio Romano, Levi Colwill could depart Chelsea on a permanent transfer this summer as the Blues are looking to sign three centre-backs.
Kalidou Koulibaly is all but a done deal and Chelsea are still targeting Nathan Ake and Presnel Kimpembe.
Colwill just returned from a loan spell at Huddersfield and will have limited game time if these two players are brought in.
However, fans are not on-board with the idea of offloading the talented Cobham graduate. Supporter @ExpectedChelsea writes on Twitter: "Selling Colwill would be a grave error and would be entirely on Tuchel, especially for someone like Nathan Ake.
"This would be as bad as selling Kevin De Bruyne and replacing him with Juan Cuadrado because of 'experience'. Cannot happen.
"If Colwill is sold, it'll only cement my opinion that Tuchel is akin to Mourinho version 2. He doesn't care about the future of the club, he's here to win right now. That's fine as long as we win relevant trophies. If we don't compete for the CL or PL, then what's the point?
"Personal opinion, you're free to throw it into the bin: I can't support what we are doing.
"Selling elite talents (Colwill, Guehi last year) to chase inferior players isn't what I'm here for. If we're neck-to-neck with City, I can digest it. If not, there's one person to blame. Colwill will help us win trophies no less than Nathan Ake will."
