According to Deportes Cuatro's David Bernabeu Reverter, Barcelona are close to activating the second economic lever.
This would bring the club €320m, a part of which can be invested into signings. Joan Laporta wants to sign the agreement with Sixth Street, the partners, next week.
Once Barca get the funds, they might be able to announce some new signings.
First of all, the Catalans reportedly are close to a full agreement with Leeds United over Raphinha. A personal agreement was reached months ago.
Second, Barca also have personal terms agreed with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso. So they would simply need to submit a bid to Chelsea.
Finally, Robert Lewandowski's arrival seems imminent. Barca are expected to meet Bayern Munich's asking price, and a personal deal with the striker shouldn't be a problem.
