Barcelona progressing in talks to extend Dembele to 2024

Barcelona are and Ousmane Dembele are progressing in their talks for a new contract, according to Cope's Helena Condis.

Fabrizio Romano says all parties are now optimistic about agreeing on a new deal to extend Dembele's contract until 2024.

Earlier today, Barca president told Cope that Dembele will definitely renew his contract if he accepts the terms being presented by the club.

Those terms will see the player earn 40 per cent less than he used to while his agent gets zero renewal bonus.

From what we understand, Barca offered him more back in January but he rejected it. Now Chelsea and PSG are no longer interested in signing him.
